Welcome to my website where I showcase my designs, illustrations and other things that caught my attention.

I am a graphic designer, photographer and illustrator living in the little coastal town of Knysna, South Africa.

I studied a Bachelor of Arts degree in English and Psychology at The University of Cape Town, and then completed a diploma in Graphic Design. This background influences much of my work.

I recently re-read my textbook on Carl Jung’s psychology and this quote expresses my thoughts perfectly:

“The artist is not a person endowed with free will who seeks his own ends, but one who allows art to realize its purposes through him. As a human being he may have moods and a will and personal aims, but as an artist he is “man” in a higher sense – he is “collective man,” a vehicle and moulder of the unconscious psychic life of mankind.”
